I just realized that when people ask me about the DC universe,  I tend to refer to the superheroes by their civilian names (”Oh, Bruce is -”, “Barry and Hal are -”) because it feels like I’m talking about relatives, co-workers, next-door neighbors with epic lives… real people. Like, I have actual affection for them. LOL.
